In the latest episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 8’, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty made a joint appearance. On the couch, the ‘Singham’ duo got candid about their lives, and even had discussions on family and the challenges of fame.
Ajay, while talking about the constant scrutiny faced by his daughter Nysa Devgn on social media, shared his displeasure. He said, “Of course she doesn’t like it, I don’t like it, but you can’t change it, so you live with it. A few people talking rubbish about you does not mean that the whole world thinks the same about you.” Not to miss, Nysa is being constantly followed by paparazzi as well. Hearing Ajay, Rohit Shetty chimed in and said, “Everybody is getting trolled.”

Meanwhile, Ajay also focused on the dual nature of social media, and said, “Otherwise, social media doesn’t work. You write good things about people, but nobody is interested in reading it.”
Soon, Karan Johar, the host, ended up speaking about the nepotism debate, to which Ajay reacted by saying, “Yes, even when she (Nysa) is not working. Right now, she doesn’t want to be in the film industry. But tomorrow if something changes, they will bring this interview up and play it.”
The conversation then shifted to Rohit Shetty’s family, and his son, Ishaan, who has aspirations to join the film industry. Rohit jokingly said, “He wants to be in films. He has to go through the whole process. I am going to take the car from him; he has to go through that struggle and then reach my office. He has to work.”

When questioned about how he and his family maintain a low profile, Rohit Shetty said, “Good things should be kept hidden from the world. That’s the way we have been. I have never thrown a party in my life and I rarely go to parties.”
Ajay Devgn joined him and said that their perspective towards fame and stardom is rooted in their middle-class upbringing. Ajay said, “When we come from very humble backgrounds, the family values remain the same. We still today are middle class. Our beliefs are middle class.”
