'Salaar' Box Office Collection Day 13: Prabhas Starrer Crosses Rs 650 Crore Mark Worldwide

On the thirteenth day of its release, Prabhas' 'Salaar' has achieved a remarkable feat as it crossed Rs 650 crore worldwide.

'Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire' hit the theatres worldwide on December 22 one day after 'Dunki's release on December 21. Prabhas' film opened with thunderous numbers, earning Rs 90 crore net in India. The actioner has been performing well at the box office and it has crossed the Rs 650 mark worldwide on the thirteenth day of its release. 

On its second Wednesday, the film managed to rake in Rs 5.25 crore net in India, as per a report in Sacnilk. So, the total box office collection of 'Salaar' stands at Rs 373.57 crore in the domestic market. 

It experienced an overall occupancy of 17.97% in the Telugu language, 11.62% in Malayalam, 14.73% in Tamil, 4.46% in Kannada and 13.92% in Hindi.

As per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, 'Salaar' has crossed the Rs 650 crore mark worldwide. It has now become the third Telugu film after 'Baahubali 2' and 'RRR' to cross that benchmark. 'Baahubali 2' collected Rs 1788 crore worldwide while 'RRR' made Rs 1230 crore in the global market. 

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu and Sriya Reddy in significant roles

After a couple of flops like 'Adipurush' and 'Radhe Shyam', 'Salaar' was a much-needed comeback for Prabhas. He will reprise his role in 'Salaar Part 2' which is scheduled to release in 2025.

While talking about the sequel, Darling star told India Today, "The story is already ready, and we are going to start very soon, aiming to deliver the film as soon as possible for the audiences. I am aware that many of my fans are eagerly waiting for its release. We will soon unveil the details of Salaar Part 2."

Apart from 'Salaar 2', he also has Nag Ashwin’s 'Kalki 2898 AD', Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 'Spirit', and director Maruthi’s next.
