The National Investigation Agency has filed a 13,500-page chargesheet in a special court in Jammu against 19 people, including Jaish-e-­Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, for planning and carrying out the February 14, 2019, attack on a CRPF convoy in J&K’s Pulwama that left 40 personnel dead.

Rescuers sifting through the rubble of a five-storeyed building, which came down like a pack of cards on Monday evening in Maha­rashtra’s Raigad district, found a four-­year-old boy alive and his mother dead beneath the debris, police said. At least eight people have been confirmed dead so far.

Security has been tightened around where Tibetan spiritual leader, the ­Dalai Lama, resides at McLeodganj, near Dharamshala. This follows the ­arrest of a suspected Chinese spy in Delhi last week. A Chinese ­woman and another person were also detained later by the Himachal Pradesh Police.
