Pakistan cricket team have a power-packed schedule for the year 2024. Currently, they are playing the last Test match of the three-game Test series in Australia. Last year didn't go for the Pakistan team as the cricket fans would have expected, but the new year brings a lot of opportunities for the team to prosper as the schedule for 2024 has numerous cricket matches. Shan Masood's Pakistan Test team have started the new year with a Pink Test at the historic Sydney Cricket Ground. Aamer Jamal and Mohammad Rizwan have given the fans many reasons to smile in the match. After the conclusion of the match, the Pakistan team will continue their tour of Down Under as they as scheduled to play New Zealand for a five-match T20I series.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have recently made many changes in the captaincy and selector's team as well. Shaheen Afridi was named T20I captain. Shan Masood was named Test captain when Babar Azam resigned from captaincy in all formats.
As the year 2024 has a T20 World Cup as well, Pakistan will be seen playing T20 cricket more. They will go on a tour of the Netherlands, Ireland and England before the commencement of the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the United States Of America in June.
