Pakistan shared the U-19 Youth Asia Cup trophy with India in 2012 when the final match was tied. India have won the trophy for the most seven times. Afghanistan are the only other team that have won the title in 2017.
Pakistan and Nepal are in Group A with India and Afghanistan. Group B consists of four teams - Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Japan. Each team will play the other teams in the group for one time. Then the top two teams of the groups will move into the semi-finals. The match between Pakistan and Nepal on Thursday will allow the young talents from these countries to showcase their talent on a big stage.
