Speaking ahead of the big game, former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq said that Babar Azam's men need to persist with its team even if they lose to India.

Calling the Men In Green as one of the most balanced side at the Asia Cup 2023, Razzaq reckons Babar and the team management need to back their players despite the outcome of the game not going their way.

"See, the current Pakistan XI is well-balanced. You have proper batters and all-rounders in middle-order. You have full strength in pace and spin attack. You have everything. You should have the same team, this is the best combination. Even if we lose the match against India, you shouldn't be changing the current team. This is the best team we have," Razzaq said on GEO Super.

Pakistan have already notched up a win at the Asia Cup 2023 with a 238-run massive win over minnows Nepal in the opener. Babar Azam's excellent 151 supported by Iftikhar Ahmed's 109, gave the co-hosts a brilliant platform to post a massive 342/6. In reply, Nepal were bundled out for a paltry 104.
