MS Dhoni recently gave his fans a peek into how he celebrated his 42nd birthday. In a video that he uploaded on Instagram, he can be surrounded by his pets as he blows the candles on a cake. He then feeds the cake to his pets, who joyously hop around.
Dhoni was wished by the who's-who of the cricketing fraternity as well as outside of it.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain now visited Chennai and was welcomed by the roars of an expectant crowd gathered to welcome him.
In a video being shared on social media, the crowd can be seen cheering "Dhoni, Dhoni" outside the airport, sporting a new look for the launch of 'LGM' movie's trailer and music, which is produced by his production house, Dhoni Entertainment.
Dhoni was accompanied by his wife Sakshi Dhoni.
Before arriving in Chennai, Sakshi expressed her happiness about the project, saying, "We look forward to being here and doing more such meaningful stories. We are excited to start this fascinating journey today. I assure you that this fun-filled film will be one that the entire family can enjoy."
The movie sees Ramesh Tamilmani in the director's chair.
Since winning the IPL 2023 edition, Dhoni is returning to Chennai for the first time. CSK had played their last match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium during the Qualifer 1 match against Gujarat Titans (GT), which they won. He and his team had then taken the lap of the ground, thanking everyone in attendance.
CSK would then go on to win the record-equalling fifth IPL title, beating GT in the final. Dhoni had also undergone knee surgery in Mumbai after the IPL concluded.
