Fans are in for a treat when the world’s largest martial arts organization returns to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on May 16 for another action-packed installment of its weekly Asia primetime event series.

ONE Friday Fights 108 features 12 compelling matchups across three different combat sports disciplines, each designed to deliver fireworks.

In the main event, 22-year-old phenom Kongchai Chanaidonmueang will rematch battle-hardened veteran Chokpreecha PK Saenchai in a strawweight Muay Thai bout that represents a clash between the new and old guards.

A former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion renowned for his technical brilliance, Kongchai secured a hard-fought decision win over Chokpreecha last November at ONE Friday Fights 87.

While 22-year-old Kongchai has shown plenty of promise on the global stage, he will come into this much-anticipated rematch hungry to break his current two-fight skid.

The 34-year-old Chokpreecha, meanwhile, is fresh off a dazzling stoppage victory in March at ONE Friday Fights 101 and hopes to prove that his first loss to Kongchai was a fluke.

Before that, Thailand’s youth movement will be on full display when teenage star Brazil Aekmuangnon squares off with 20-year-old Lekkla BS Muaythai in an intriguing 126-pound Muay Thai tilt.

Brazil has racked up three impressive wins across five appearances at ONE Friday Fights, while Lekkla will look to build on a highlight-reel knockout in his promotional debut last November.

Lower on the card, surging Thai striker Kaenpitak NhongBangsai puts his 2-0 ONE Friday Fights record on the line against Iranian knockout artist Majid Karimi.

Kaenpitak knows that a third straight victory would move him closer to a six-figure contract and spot on ONE’s global roster, but the upset-minded Karimi, with his fearless style and shocking power, is motivated to steal his foe’s thunder.

In welterweight MMA action, Brazil’s Bismarck Gomes will battle promotional newcomer Ruslan Arslangereev in a contest between undefeated rising stars.

Gomes is a supremely talented ground fighter and submission artist, but he’s in for a tough test against another skilled grappler in Turkey’s Arslangereev, who owns a 100 percent finishing rate across his three-fight professional career.

Check out the full lineup of fights below ahead of the action on May 16.
