Indian motorsport fans just cannot contain their excitement with the arrival of MotoGP. The MotoGP Bharat 2023 is all set to kickstart today (22 September) at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida (More Motorsport news | Streaming)

Buddh International Circuit sounds familiar doesn't it? Well, it's the same circuit that hosted the country's first ever F1 race and the three-day MotoGP race will be biggest ever since 2011.

The Indian GP will see 82 riders across 41 teams fighting for the numero uno spot in MotoGP, Moto 2 and Moto 3 over three days. For those who don't know, Indian fans can live stream the event on the JioCinema app.

The BIC hosted Formula One races back in 2011 till 2013 and has been modified to make way for the two-wheel racing event. The modifications include extension added to the gravel traps around the BIC track so that the riders feel safe when riding. Air fences and foam barriers have also been added for the safety of the riders.

The Formula one track of the Buddh International Circuit had a layout of 16 turns but of the MotoGP, it will have 13. Moreover, the track will have one of the longest straights on the calendar and that will allow the riders to touch the speed of 370 clicks.
