Vaibhav Suryavanshi, in particular, raised eyebrows, on his IPL debut, launching a six off his very first ball. In a very destructive form since he hammered a 34 runs off 20 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes.

Born in 2011, three years after the IPL's inception, Suryavanshi made his debut for Rajasthan Royals today (April 19, Saturday) as an Impact Substitute.

Record-Breaker Long Before the IPL Spotlight

Well, Vaibhav Suryavanshi didn’t wait for the IPL to make history. Long before his debut, the wonder kid from Bihar became the youngest-ever to score an international hundred -- slamming 104 off just 62 balls in a Youth Test against Australia U19 in Chennai. He reached his century in just 58 balls, which was perhaps the fastest by an Indian in Youth Tests and second only to England’s Moeen Ali, who did it in 56.
