We'll bowl first since there's a little more grass on the pitch than usual. If we can target the right areas, we can put them under pressure. It's nice to play here, and I hope the wicket performs well as it looks. We are fielding the same team tonight. This man over here (pointing to Matt Short) has been the Big Bash Player of the Year for the last two or three years. He’s coming back as a "wounded soldier," and you always have to be cautious with those guys. They have power throughout their batting lineup.

We were also planning to bowl, so it’s a nice toss to lose. We’ll see how it goes. The past couple of weeks have been frustrating, but my toe is finally alright, and I can move around. It’s nice to be back. If I can use my bat without hurting my foot, we should be fine. There are four changes in our lineup: Buckingham and Haskett are making their first appearances for the Adelaide Strikers, joining Alex Carey and me. Boyce, Bazley, Thornton, and Weatherald miss out. Having Carey back is huge; he brings a lot of experience and loves batting here as well.
