Satwik-Chirag duo enters semi-final of China Masters Badminton 2023

Indian star badminton pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty entered the semi-finals of the China Masters Super 750 badminton tournament in Shenzhen on Friday after defeating Indonesian pair Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin in the men's doubles category. (Badminton News)

The top-seeded Indian duo outplayed the world's 13th-ranked Indonesian pair 21-16, 21-14 in 46 minutes. Now, Satwik-Chirag will face the Chinese pair He Ji Ting and Ren Xiang Yu in the semi-finals of men's doubles on Saturday.

Satwik-Chirag pair in men's doubles is the only Indian representation left in the BWF World Tour Super 750 event after HS Prannoy's shock defeat in the quarter-finals against Japan's Kodai Naraoka in a lop-sided contest in the men's singles category.
