The Asian Para Games 2023 is just a day's away from starting with the opening ceremony all set to kick things off in a six-day event in Hangzhou, China. Starting from October 22, the Asian Para Games are organised by the Asian Paralymic Committee and also hold it's recognition from the International Paralympic Committee. The Asian Para Games first began in 2010 in Guangzhou, China and ever since then, the Games have been held in many other cities including Incheon, South Korea, in 2014 and Jakarata-Palembang in 2018.

The fourth edition of the Asian Para Games will see 566 medal events acorss 22 sports, further then divided into 24 disciplines. India has sent a 313-strong contingent, its biggest-ever, to the Asian Para Games which begin in Hangzhou on Sunday.
