The Indian women's cricket team registered it's maiden medal in cricket at the Asian Games with its 19-run win over Sri Lanka in the final. Moreover, India's 10m men's air rifle also registered a gold. These two were the highlight of the day at the Asian Games 2023 for India. By the end of the action on Monday, India won a total of 11 medals (2 gold, three silver and six bronze).
