According to a Times Of India report, Adityanath said, "Nadda Ji visited eastern UP as health minister to address issues like encephalitis. While he was concerned at the situation he also devised effective plans to tackle the situation. This disease, which claimed the lives of 50,000 children in Eastern UP over 40 years, has now been completely controlled and eliminated, and Nadda Ji's significant role as the health minister under PM Modi's leadership is evident in this achievement."
