Why has this happened?
Power and electoral politics is the reason.... The proximity of power dilutes ideology. Now we are in the era of coalition politics. Running the government is the priority. So ideology takes a backseat. One point of view is that if there is good governance then ideology is not important. If a government can improve the lives of the people then all is well. But we need to debate whether any government can give the country a definite direction without an ideology.
At a time when the PM is being praised worldwide, within the party questions are being raised about his leadership...
I don’t think Atalji’s leadership is open to question. He is the country’s leader. The entire country accepts his leadership.
Then why this debate within the party?
It is your job to analyse that. That is created by the media. There is no question mark against Atalji’s leadership nor is it a subject of debate.
