Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally in Kamareddy, Telangana, remarked on the name changes in political parties, noting that the TRS has become BRS, and the UPA rebranded itself as the INDIA alliance. Despite these changes, he asserted that corruption and misrule persist, suggesting that altering names does not alter the fundamental issues within these parties, as reported by PTI.

Highlighting a perceived commonality between the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress, Modi accused both of resorting to various tricks to betray the people. He emphasized that people across the country are familiar with these political maneuvers.

According to the prime minister, the history of corruption, misrule, and vote bank politics associated with these parties cannot be erased by a mere change in nomenclature. He pointed out that in many states, including Telangana, the Congress has been ousted by the people for decades.

Expressing confidence in the upcoming November 30 assembly polls, Modi predicted the dislodging of the BRS from power, stating that people desire liberation from the ruling party and the Congress. He asserted that the political winds are favoring the BJP.

Modi also highlighted the BJP's manifesto in the state, describing it as a symbol of the aspirations of the poor, farmers, Dalits, and the backward communities. Notably, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, State Congress President A Revanth Reddy, and BJP's Venkataramana Reddy are among the prominent figures contesting from Kamareddy.
