J&K: 3 LeT Terrorists Killed In Encounter That Broke Out In Munjh Marg Of Sophian

Two LeT terrorists were identified as Lateef Lone of Sophian who was involved in the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit Purana Krishna Bhat and Umer Nazir of Anantnag involved in the killing of Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal, according to the ADGP Kashmir.

Three Lakshare-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Munjh Marg area of the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir early Tuesday morning.  

Two were identified as Lateef Lone of Sophian who was involved in the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit Purana Krishna Bhat and Umer Nazir of Anantnag involved in the killing of Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal, according to the ADGP Kashmir.

Further one AK-47 and two pistols were recovered. 

 

Taking to Twitter, Kashmir Zone Police said, "#Encounter started at Munjh Marg area of Shopian district. Police and Security Forces are on the job. Details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice."

In consequent tweets, they said, #ShopianEncounterUpdate 03 #terrorists linked with proscribed #terror outfit LeT killed. Identification being ascertained. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice.

Army and police forces were on the job and two to three terrorists were believed to be trapped.
