Centre To Meet With Farmers On Feb 14, Leaders Warn To Resume Foot March If 'No Suitable Solution' Is Found

Farmer leaders and representatives from the Central government are slated to meet on February 14, 2025 to discuss their demands.

Ahead of the talks with the Central government, Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has stated that the group will resume their foot march to Delhi fi a "suitable solution" is not found.

Farmer leaders and representatives from the Central government are slated to meet on February 14, 2025 to discuss their demands. However, if the meeting remains unsuccessful, the farmers will resume their Delhi Chalo march from Shambhu border from February 25 onwards.

The Centre has invited Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha for the talks. These two groups are also the ones spearheading the protest at Shambu Shambhu and Khanauri borders.

Ahead of the meeting with the Centre, a delegation of farmer leaders from the SKM (Non-political) and KMM will also attend the meeting called by Samyukta Kisan Morcha for holding unity talks on February 12.

Along with this, several 'Kisan Mahapanchayats ' will be held throughout the week to mark one year of the ongoing protest.
