Cyclone Biparjoy has left behind a trail of destruction in Gujarat after making landfall on Thursday evening. The storm caused flooding in areas, uprooted hundreds of trees, and disrupted power supplies. A total of 23 people were also injured and a number of houses were damaged. The PTI reported that 5,120 electricity poles were damaged and 4,600 villages were left without power. While power supply has been restored in 3,580 villages, over 1,000 others are still without electricity.
