The government has made the decision to rename the Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres, rechristening them as 'Ayushman Arogya Mandir.'

PTI reports have confirmed that the Union Health Ministry has communicated this decision to the states and Union territories, urging them to carry out the rebranding initiative.

As part of the rebranding process, states are instructed to upload photographs of the newly named primary health facilities on the Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWC) portal, providing a visual representation of the transformation.

In addition to the name change, the rebranded AB-HWCs will adopt a new tagline, 'Arogyam Parmam Dhanam,' signifying a focus on health as the ultimate wealth. This initiative reflects the government's ongoing efforts to enhance and promote healthcare services across the nation.
