The 12-year-old daughter of Ajit Dashavatare, personal assistant to Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Sunday. Police have launched an investigation and said all possible angles are being examined.
Girl Went Missing After Argument At Home
According to sources cited by India Today, the girl had a minor argument with her mother over an issue on Saturday before leaving home in anger. When she did not return, her family approached the police and filed a missing-person complaint.
Her body was found near her residence in the Sainagar area of Rui village in Baramati tehsil on Sunday morning. The circumstances leading to her death remain unclear.
Police Await Post-Mortem Report
After receiving information about the body, police reached the spot and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the girl's death. Her body was sent to Baramati Government Medical College and Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A senior police official told India Today investigators were examining all possible angles and would gather information about the girl’s movements after she left home, question family members and examine other available evidence.
The post-mortem report is expected to help establish the cause and circumstances of her death. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
