Israel- Palestine War: Israeli Airstrike Kills Hamas' Head Of Aerial Forces, Says Military

As per media reports, the airstrike by Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) killed the head of Hamas’s aerial array, Murad Abu Murad.

Amid the continuously escalating tension between warring Israel and Ghaza, the Israel Defense Forces  (IDF) on Saturday confirmed death of a senior member of the Hamas terror group in an overnight airstrike in the Gaza Strip, as per a report by Times of Israel. As per media reports, the airstrike killed the head of Hamas’s aerial array, Murad Abu Murad.

It has been reported that Abu Murad “took a big part in directing terrorists during the massacre” last weekend, which included attackers who entered Israel from the air on hang gliders.

According to the IDF, several sites belonging to Hamas’s commando forces have been attacked so far.

Israel-Gaza Offensive

On October 7, the Gaza-Strip based armed wing of Hamas launched a series of unprecedented coordinated attacks on Israel on Saturday, killing hundreds of people.

Since then, the attack has killed more than 1,300 people in Israel while the Israeli counter-airstrikes have killed more than 1,530 people in Gaza.

Israel has claimed roughly 1,500 Hamas militants were killed inside Israel.
