Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders had a narrow escape when the stage they were standing on collapsed during a campaign rally in Bihar, ahead of the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

A video of the incident, which has been circulating on social media, shows the leaders standing on the stage, holding hands, moments before it gave way. The stage collapsed, causing everyone on it to lose their balance and grab onto each other for support.
