Beyond the typical business prowess, he brings an extraordinary blend of creativity and innovation that sets him apart in the entrepreneurial landscape. Born in the United States, but deeply rooted in Delhi, Rohit has been shaped by a blend of both Eastern and Western influences. Having studied at UC Berkeley in California, he's equipped with a global perspective. His journey is an inspiring saga of grit and tenacity, with Rohit making his mark in the complex and often challenging arena of international exports.

He kicked off with his first venture, Brush with Bamboo®, a sustainable consumer product that quickly attracted attention from both the consumers and the business community. The Hindu highlighted his initiative in 2013 , but success was still a long way off. He recalls the tough times, "While my friends were earning big salaries, I was investing time and effort into my business, without any immediate return." But Rohit wasn’t one to give up.

The fruits of his labor came in the form of two successful brands, Brush with Bamboo® and CleanPlaneterra®. But Rohit's ambition didn’t stop at building successful brands. He shares his experiences and expertise on his Instagram page @fromstarttoscale and also via his youtube channel . Initially started as a guide to kickstarting an e-commerce brand, the page morphed into a hub for those interested in exporting products from India to the West.

His perseverance and dedication took him far and wide. He consulted for numerous VC-backed e-commerce brands and spent five years as a partner at a product development firm in China. All these experiences further refined his entrepreneurial skills and reinforced his desire to help India become a major player in the global market.

Rohit's dream goes beyond his personal achievements. He envisions a world where India is recognized as a global export powerhouse, an alternative to China. So, now he wants to share his success and knowledge with the upcoming generation of Indian entrepreneurs, stating, “India has a tremendous opportunity to be a global supplier. It’s a chance for young Indians to step up, dive into the world of exports, and build the next wave of wealth in India.”

Rohit is looking forward to the future with grand plans. He wants to build a thriving community of Indian exporters and take the 'Made in India' tag global. He believes in the potential of India to replace China as the world's leading manufacturing hub. In his words, "The next 20 years could be incredibly lucrative for India if we seize the opportunity now."
