Prasanth Varma On His Upcoming Film: 'HanuMan' Will Be Along The Lines Of ‘Krrish’

Ever since the trailer of Teja Sajja starrer ‘HanuMan’ was released last year, people have been drawing parallels between the movie with other existing movies and shows. Putting all speculations to rest, director Prasanth Varma has finally revealed that the movie will be along the lines of ‘Krrish.’

In a recent interview, Prasanth Varma spilled all the tea about ‘HanuMan.’ He also revealed some trivia and other interesting details from the film. The director was what the movie is all about. He revealed that the film will follow the journey of a common man who gets superpowers. But the man happens to get the powers of Lord Hanuman.

123Telugu quoted the actor saying, “HanuMan will be along the lines of ‘Krrish’. Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish’ is a superhero film, and ‘HanuMan’ is also a superhero film. What happens when a normal person gets superpowers? This is the crux of both films. Here in ‘HanuMan’, the protagonist will get the powers of Lord Hanuman. ‘HanuMan’ will also follow the same template of a superhero film.”

Starring Teja Sajja and Amritha Iyer, ‘HanuMan’ is the first film of Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe. The movie also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkuamr, Satya, Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai in lead roles. The movie has been inspired by the tales of “Akhand Bharat” as was mentioned in the trailer.

Produced by Niranjan Reddy, the movie will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. ‘HanuMan’ is set to release in theatres on January 12.
