Starring Sundeep Kishan and Varsha Bollama, the trailer of ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’ was released on Thursday. Ever since the trailer dropped online, there has been considerable buzz around the film on social media. This film also marks the second time Vi Anand and Sundeep Kishan have come together for a film. The first film this director-actor combo collaborated on was ‘Tiger’ in 2015.
The 2:14 minute-long trailer opens with romantic shots of Sundeep Kishan and Varsha Bollama. It feels like the couple is in love with each other and they want to spend the rest of their lives together. They are dancing romantically in a room full of candles. However, this romance is quickly cut down and shots of a village are plastered on the screen.
In one shot, you can see people are to a pole and are being whipped by a muscular, shirtless man. The trailer moves to a castle where a man is seen making an offering to a deity. It is revealed that Bhairavakona has gone missing from Garuda Puranam. Sundeep Kishan emerges as the hero when he finds a staff that bestows him with all the powers that he would need.

When the trailer opens, you start to think that it might just be another love story where the couple is going through a tough time. But when their romance is cut short by those jarring visuals, you start to take note of the film. From the looks of the trailer, it looks like the film would be high on fantasy and mystic elements. These mystic elements have been very cleverly in the trailer, and it keeps you glued to the very end. It makes you want to watch how these two contrasting elements will marry together in the movie.
Directed by Vi Anand, ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’ stars Sundeep Kishan, Varsha Bollama, Kavya Thapar, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha in lead roles. The film has been produced by Razesh Danda and it is set to release in cinemas on February 9.
