Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare have finally been wed. It couldn’t have been a bigger day for the Khandaan as everyone close to the couple was present for the grand celebrations. The first visuals from the Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding are finally out. Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta gave away their daughter’s hand in marriage as they looked with heartfelt emotions at the nikah being solemnised.

For the unversed, Ira Khan is the founder and CEO of a mental health support organisation. Nupur Shikhare, on the other hand, is a celebrity fitness trainer. As per reports, had trained Aamir Khan for some of his film roles, and it was during that time itself that Nupur Shikhare met Ira Khan. The wedding took place at a suburban 5-star hotel and was attended by only the very close family and friends of the Khandaan. Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta were seen on the stage looking lovingly at Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare while Kiran Rao, was seen clicking pictures and videos of the ceremony. A reception was done at the same venue after the wedding was solemnised.

Earlier today, Nupur Shikhare was seen jogging from his residence to the wedding venue in athleisure outfits. It was thought by everyone that he would go to the venue and then get dressed up, and keeping in tradition with his fitness personality trait, he decided to jog down to the venue. But, once he reached the venue, he and his friends also danced along to the dhol beats outside the venue, as if the groom had arrived already. People were still expecting that this was just a fad and he would go inside the venue and get dressed up. However, that didn’t happen, and he was seen sporting the same jogging outfit even onstage at the wedding ceremony.

Ira Khan, on the other hand, was seen dressed in a proper traditional outfit. She was looking gorgeous. The crowd attending the nikah was seen cheering on as the couple signed on the dotted lines.
As per reports, the couple might have another wedding ceremony in Udaipur on January 8. Also, a star-studded reception has been planned for January 13 in Mumbai, which will see the who’s who of the film, television and sports fraternity come together to wish the newlywed couple.
