Actress Ishitta Arun is on cloud nine right now. She is part of National Award-winning director Hansal Mehta's ‘Scoop’. The actress, who is still basking in the success of ‘Rana Naidu’ opposite south superstars Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati, was working on another series, ‘Good Bad Girl’ when she was cast for ‘Scoop’. In ‘Scoop’, Ishitta plays the character of Nelly, the wife of Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub's character of a journalist. She informs how her character adds value to his life.

“She has a happy marriage and it is Nelly who encourages her husband to stand up for the truth,” says Ishitta Arun, who’s the daughter of acclaimed singer-actress Ila Arun.

Ishitta Arun had a ball shooting with director, Hansal Mehta. “Initially, I was extremely nervous but then Hansal sir made me comfortable. He is a dream to work with. He understands his actors and gives them the time to shine,” she says.

For Ishitta Arun, who is also an interior design consultant and has hosted live shows, working on 'Scoop' felt like a celebration. “Hansal sir doesn't speak much. But he understands when his actors need him and he will give the brief and move back to enjoy the performance,” says Ishitta, who has acted in Shyam Benegal's TV project 'Yatra', Sonu Nigam's 'Bujiria', and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Loye Loye'.
