Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ is looking much larger than life than ‘KGF’ – a film which is being compared to Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ quite often. The two films have an outlook that feels similar. Looking at the comparisons, the cinematographer of the film, Bhuvan Gowda has also said that the film is much bigger in scale than that of Yash’s ‘KGF’ franchise. Now that’s a big statement to make.

Social Media Buzz

‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ is definitely creating a humongous buzz on social media. The film is getting too much love from people all over and fans are just wanting to see the movie right about now. The makers are also not leaving any stone unturned to make sure that it’s bigger than anything that they have seen in the recent past. It’s true that people want to see a grand spectacle from Prabhas after the massive success of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. ‘Salaar’ seems to be the perfect opportunity for the same.

Bigger Than ‘KGF’

Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda recently spoke out about the film and said that this film will be way bigger than ‘KGF’. “We’ve constructed another Ramoji Film City II within the existing Ramoji City: For ‘Salaar’, enormous sets created by art director Shivakumar and his team span over 100 acres. In addition, in Dandumailaram, we’ve erected a half-kilometre wall and massive sets covering 100 acres. In my opinion, ‘Salaar’s scale is five times that of ‘KGF’. Technically, we’re on a different level. This is one of the largest sets created in Indian films.”

The film definitely looks grander than ‘KGF’ but will the emotions of the story be at par with what Yash managed to bring out of the audiences? Well, only time will tell.
