Ever since holiday pictures of Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur went viral, their relationship was scrutinized by the public. The actor recently spoke about this and said that the constant attention makes it difficult for them to maintain their love lives.

Speaking to Film Companion, Ananya Panday talked about how she keeps her relationship private. She mentioned the hacks that she uses when she wants to maintain privacy. She said, “I think, with me, it depends on the day, it depends on how I am feeling. I feel like some things are actually private.”

In the same conversation, the actor also talked about how people look into celebrity relationships and exaggerate things about the couple. She explained this by talking about how non-celebrity relationships are treated. She said, “Imagine a normal relationship without actors being involved. You are figuring it out with the person, what you like, and what you don’t like. Then you have the scrutiny of so many people, their judgments, their opinions, ‘oh they don’t look happy’. It gets much tougher and it adds a lot of pressure on something that’s so special and new.”

Ananya also mentioned how a major chunk of a celebrity’s life is out in the public. She mentioned that because celebrities lead a public life, they want to keep their relationships private to protect them. She said, “So, you do want to protect it because most of our lives are out there. Whatever you can try to protect, you should.”

The actor will be next seen in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. Earlier this year, she was seen in ‘Dream Girl 2’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
