Celebs getting trolled is not a new thing. Every now and then, they become victim to trolls either for their outfits or their looks. Recently. actress Amy Jackson got trolled for her latest look which she posted on Instagram. She shared pictures where many found her look similar to 'Oppenheimer' actor Cillian Murphy. Now, she has reacted to the trolls.
She told Times of India it's 'quite sad' on facing criticism for her look. Amy said, “I’m an actor and I take my job very seriously. For the last month, I've been filming a new project in the UK. So, for the character I am playing, I had to slim down and fully commit myself to the role. The online outcry from the (mainly male) Indian demographic is quite sad. I have worked with male co-stars who had to drastically change their look for a film, and they were highly praised for it. The moment a woman does it through unusual hair and makeup that doesn't conform to their idealism of beauty, they think they have the right to troll you."

It was last week, Amy shared a few pictures with her boyfriend Ed Westwick. She was in a red dress. Several users found her look having an uncanny resemblance to Thomas Shelby, a character played by Cillian in 'Peaky Blinders'. On the comparison to Murphy's look, the 'Ekk Deewana Tha' actress said that she is 'over the moon' that so many people think she looks like Cillian Murphy and is ready to get her Birmingham accent ready for a comeback.
Amy was earlier engaged to George Panayiotou. She is now dating 'Gossip Girl' actor Ed Westwick.
