Movie Crow quoted Sivakarthikeyan saying, “When we started the film, we didn’t know the word pan-Indian. But seeing the opportunities Tamil cinema had in recent days, we have made this movie with a lot of difficulties as we didn’t want to compromise on the quality.”

As reported by The Times of India even Siva did not charge any fees for his role. In the same event, the actor revealed that the release of this pending film was more important than his fees. He also thanked AR Rahman for composing the music for the film.

Directed by R. Ravikumar, this VFX-heavy film has been in the works for a long time. ‘Ayalaan’ boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu, Bala Saravanan, and Karunakaran. The film is slated to release during Pongal next year.
