Actor Sharib Hashmi has come a long way in his career. Though in his early days, he worked in a few films, those projects didn't give him much recognition. But today, he is one of the most known actors in the industry. All thanks to OTT. Especially, with Raj & DK's 'The Family Man', Sharib became a household name. His on-screen chemistry and bond with Manoj Bajpayee were very much loved by the audience. Sharib played JK Talpade, who was Srikant Tiwari's (Manoj Bajpayee) colleague and best friend.

Sharib told Outlook India that when he came out after giving the audition of 'The Family Man', he had the intuition that if it happened, his life would change. ''It has the potential to change things for me and I was right. When the series was released, and the second season of 'The Family Man' came, it gave a big boost to my career. Then came 'Asur', 'Vikram Vedha', 'Tarla' and things started changing. It all started with OTT and I give 100 percent credit to it for the new leap of life,'' he added.
