From 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia to 'Eternals' directed by Chloe Zao, here are some of the many fantastic titles directed by women across borders on Disney+ Hotstar.   

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' 

Written by Jessica Gao and helmed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia, 'She-Hulk Attorney at Law' is a powerful female-led series starring Emmy Award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, AKA, She-Hulk. With her specialisation in superhuman-oriented legal cases, Jennifer Walters navigates her new smashing green persona and her role as a lawyer in the series.

'Ms Marvel'

The series has been directed by two-time Academy Award winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Meera Menon, and Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah with Bisha K Ali as the head writer. The show follows the story of Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teen growing up in Jersey City, who is a Superhero mega fan and discovers that she has superpowers.

'Nomadland' 

Chloé Zhao became the first Chinese woman to be awarded Best Director for her work on Nomadland at the 93rd Academy Awards, which also took Best Picture. 'Nomadland' was only the second film directed by a woman to be named Best Picture. The story follows the economic collapse of a town in rural Nevada and how Fern sets off on the road to exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.

'Turning Red'

Directed by Domee Shi, the movie by Disney and Pixar introduces Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old who tried to balance friends, family, the chaos of adolescence and an uncontrollable ability to poof into a giant red panda.

'Frozen' 

Directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, 'Frozen' is about a fearless and optimist Anna who teams up with Kristoff on an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

'Captain Marvel'

Directed by Anna Boden, the story follows Carol Danvers, who becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

'Queen of Katwe' 

Directed by Mira Nair, this is a story of Phiona Mutesi, a small-town girl with big aspirations, but no avenues to explore them because of cultural stereotyping. She gets introduced to a game of chess and her whole life changes as she beats champions and sets out to set a world record. 

'Wrinkle in Time' 

After the disappearance of her scientist father, Meg, with her brother and her friend are sent to space to find him. The movie is directed by Ava DuVernay

'Mulan'

Directed by Niki Caro, 'Mulan' is about a woman masquerading as a male soldier to protect her father. Being tested every step of the way, Mulan must harness her inner strength and embrace her true potential.

'Eternals' 

Directed by Oscar-winning Chloé Zhao,  the story of 'Eternals' takes place across an extended period, primarily focusing on the present-day but often venturing to ancient civilisation and world events.
