‘Kohrra' Trailer: Barun Sobti-Suvinder Vicky Headline Netflix’s Crime Investigation Series

Netflix's ‘Kohrra’ revolves around the investigation into the death of an NRI in a series set in Punjab.

Netflix is back with another crime investigation series titled ‘Kohrra’ and it revolves around messy relationships and a brutal murder of a NRI. Set in Punjab, the trailer of the series was released on Thursday, and it stars Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Varun Badola and Harleen Sethi among others

'Kohrra', directed by Randeep Jha, then follows the investigation into the death of an NRI, whose body is found shortly before his wedding. The trailer of the six-episode show then moves on the mutual suspicion and hidden secrets of the characters.

Produced by Clean Slate Filmz, the show is created by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia and Sudip Sharma of ‘Paatal Lok’ fame. The two-minute trailer also hints about another missing person, as the two cops, played by Suvinder Vicky and Barun Sobti, try to nab the killer while navigating the web of love and relationships.

Netflix shared the trailer with the caption, “Kya sach hai aur kya jhooth? Find out who’s hiding behind a Kohrra of lies.#Kohrra, premieres 15th July only on Netflix!

According to the streamer, ‘Kohrra’ depicts “darkness within, where the search for justice becomes intertwined with the politics of interpersonal relationships.”

The show, which also stars Manish Chaudhary, marks the return of British actor Rachel Shelly, who starred as Elizabeth Russel in ‘Lagaan’. 

'Kohrra' is written by Gunjit Chopra and Diggi Sisodia with Karnesh Ssharma attached as the executive producer. The show will be launched on July 15.
