Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on Monday, posted a rather controversial video on his Twitter handle that showed BJP MLA  Bakshish Singh addressing a gathering, telling them that when they cast their votes at the EVM machines, irrespective of the button they press, the vote will invariably go to the BJP.

According to news agency ANI, a show-cause notice was issued to the MLA from Assandh constituency in Haryana. Singh, on the other hand, has claimed that the said video is "edited".

Currently, the matter is being investigated.

The video was posted by Rahul Gandhi accompanied with a caption: "The most honest man in the BJP."

In the video, Singh is heard claiming that no matter where the voters cast their votes, they (BJP) will get to know whom they have voted for.  "We don't tell you deliberately, but if we want, we will get to know whom you have voted for," he says, as the crowd breaks out into laughter.

He continues, saying that this is because Modi Ji is "intelligent", Manohar Lal Khattar is "intelligent."

Addressing a cheering crowd, he adds, "No matter whom you vote for, it will only go to 'flower' (BJP). No matter which button you press, it will go to the BJP, (as) we have fixed a "part" in the EVM machines."
