Jyotiraditya Scindia, the former Congress bigwig from Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday met Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, a day after he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the national capital.

Sharing a photograph on Twitter, Shah said: "I am sure his induction into the party will further strengthen BJP’s resolve to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh."

On meeting the defence minister at his residence, Scindia described in as a "courtesy call".
