In Pics: Various Shades Of The 36th National Games In Gujarat

The National Games are back after a gap of seven years. Goa was scheduled to host the 36th edition of the event in 2020, but it had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two years on, the Games are taking place in six cities in Gujarat. Over 7000 athletes from 28 states and eight Union Territories have registered for the Games. They will compete in 36 sporting disciplines. Kho-kho, yogasana and mallakhamb will make their National Games debut. The track cycling events, however, will be held in New Delhi. The table tennis competition concluded on September 24, as the players had to leave for the World Championships in China, starting from September 30.
