IPL 2024 Player Auction: David Warner Gets Blocked By Former Team Sunrisers Hyderabad On Instagram, X; Shares Pics

Former Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner has claimed that he has been blocked by his former team on Instagram and X. The southpaw shared the pictures of him being blocked by SRH on Instagram stories. (IPL Auction Live Blog | Streaming | Cricket News)

Posting the picture of the same, the current Delhi Capitals player tagged Travis Head on the post for signing up for SRH however the Aussie opener took it on the humourous side.

Talking about Warner's stint with SRH, the former won a maiden title for the Hyderabad side under his captaincy. However, things turned sour between the two as his tenure with SRH ended in 2021. Warner is currently plying trade with the Delhi Capitals (DC). Head was snapped up by SRH for INR Rs 6.8 Crore.

Talking about the auction, West Indies T20 skipper Rovman Powell was picked up by Rajasthan Royals for INR Rs 7.4 crore after winning their bidding war against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Englishman Harry Brook, who was snapped up for a whopping INR 13.25 crore in the last auction by SRH, was brought by Delhi Capitals for INR Rs 4 crore. Aussie World Cup winning duo of Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc broke records as they were purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad (INR 20.5 crore) and Kolkata Knight Riders (INR 24.75 crore), respectively.
