Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by 23 runs thanks to a half-century from Virat Kohli and a three-wicket haul from rookie Vijaykumar Vyshak. In their run chase of 175, DC continued to lose wickets at regular intervals, with Vyshak taking 3-20 and Mohammed Siraj picking up 2-23. Aside from them, Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Wayne Parnell each claimed one wicket. Only Manish Pandey produced a strong knock for DC, scoring 50 runs off 38 balls. After Virat Kohli scored 50 runs earlier, RCB totaled 174/6 in 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh and Kuldeep Yadav each claimed two wickets for DC.
