Thailand women's have defeated Nepal women's team by 78 runs at the ICC Women's T20 WC Asia Qualifier 2025 Super Three, game 3 on Tuesday, May 20 that was being played at the Terdthai Cricket Ground, Bangkok.
Opting to field first, Nepal women's skipper Indu Barma chose to bowl first but the decision backfired as the hosts amassed 158-2 in 20 overs. Nattaya Boochatham (50) and N Koncharoenkai (50 not out) were key in taking the hosts to the total.
In reply, Indu Barma-led side lost wickets at regular intervals with Kabita Kunwar (24) being the only batter with 20-plus score. For the hosts, Onnicha Kamchomphu (4/11) and Thipatcha Putthawong (3/14) were the pick of the bowlers.
