ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule & Fixtures

The biggest-ever ICC T20 World Cup with 20 teams participating takes place in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA). Starting from June 1, the World Cup goes on till June 29.

The tournament begins in Dallas with the co-hosts USA taking on their neighbours and debutants Canada. The final takes place in Barbados on June 29.

India open their campaign on June 6 against Ireland. After that, they clash with Pakistan in a high-profile clash between the two sub-continental rivals. After playing the USA on June 12, Rohit Sharma & Co finish their Group stage engagements with a clash against Canada on June 15.

As for the format, the 20 teams have been divided into four groups with every group having five sides. The top two from these groups will go to the next round which is the Super 8 stage. In the Super 8 stage, the eight sides will be divided into two groups. The top two teams from the Super 8 groups will advance to the semifinals. The winners of the two semi-finals will fight in the final.

Group A - India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, USA

Group B - England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman

Group C - New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea

Group D - South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal
