On February 14, 2019, 40 personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed after a suicide bomber rammed an IED-laden truck into a CRPF convoy
PM Narendra Modi's statement came days after Pakistan's Science & Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry admitted his country's role in the Pulwama attack.
The Pulwama attack case was solved by the NIA after piecing together the electronic evidence and statements of terrorists and their sympathisers arrested in different cases, an official said.
Security forces said they used tear smoke shells to force the holed up militants out of the mosque. They were then killed by the forces while maintaining the sanctity of the religious place, police said.
