Assembly Elections 2023 Live: Rajasthan Election Campaign Ends Today With One Last Push From Congress And BJP

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot headlined the Congress party's state election campaign today. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) charge against the ruling Congress, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also led road shows for the party. In Telangana, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), BJP, and Congress continued to exchange barbs.

The campaigning for assembly elections in Rajasthan drew to a close on Thursday evening as top leaders of the ruling Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) mounted one last show of strength with rallies and road-shows across the state. The polling will be held on November 25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on whom the state BJP has been banking on, held a  rally in Deogarh in Rajsamand district. 

In Telangana too, campaigning picked up pace ahead of polling on November 30 with Chief Minister and BRS Supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao holding rallies in Maheshwaran, Vikarabad, Patancheruvu, and Mancherial. The Congress party and BJP also held rallies in Telangana and the three parties exchanged barbs through the day.

The results for elections in all five states -- Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana -- will be declared on December 3. Follow this live blog for latest updates on elections in these states.
