A day after a Muslim woman filed a molestation complaint against 30-odd residents of Mira Road society after her and her husband brought two goats for Bakrid and had kept them inside their flat, a 63-year-old woman from a neighbouring society has filed a complaint claiming that the former’s husband molested her.

On Tuesday evening, when the couple returned from the market after shopping, 15 to 30 people, including a few residents, stopped them at the society gate.

“They checked our car and questioned my husband on bringing goats and and keeping them inside the flat. They threatened that they would (forcefully) take the goats from our flat. To this my husband reacted and they started manhandling us… During the scuffle they also tore my clothes, forcing me to call police,” Yasmin Khan said in her statement to police.
