Five individuals, including three transgender persons, were apprehended in Kasganj district, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, after they allegedly subjected a man to degrading treatment, forcing him to drink their urine and shaving his head. The shocking incident, which occurred on Wednesday within the Sahavar police station limits, came to light through a widely circulated video on social media platforms.

According to the report, SHO Anil Kumar confirmed that action was taken after the victim, identified as Rafiqul, lodged a complaint against the perpetrators. Rafiqul, who worked as a cook at one of the transgender person's homes, had reportedly gotten into disputes with the three transgender individuals and their two assistants, leading to the brutal abuse he endured, as PTI reported.

The accused not only forced Rafiqul to drink their urine and shave his head but also subjected him to physical assault. Additionally, they allegedly stole ₹10,000 in cash from him during the harrowing incident.

The video, which exposed the disturbing act, sparked outrage among the public, prompting immediate police intervention. Authorities swiftly apprehended the five suspects in connection with the incident, as they face serious charges for their alleged involvement in the assault and theft.
