Farmers 'Delhi Chalo' Protest: Outlook Speaks To Farmers At Shambhu Border
Protesting farmers at Shambhu border speak to Outlook where farmers are demanding a legal guarantee of MSP and the implementation of the Swaminathan Commission's recommendations, pension for farmers and farm labourers, farm debt waiver and no hike in electricity tariff. Currently, the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march is on hold till February 21 after the Centre proposed a new plan for the Minimum Support Price for crops.
