Despite Taylor Swift's five-game streak attending Kansas City Chiefs games, it seems Travis Kelce won't be able to return the favor and join her at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, even though they'll both be in the same city!
As the Golden Globes air live on January 7, the 34-year-old pop sensation Taylor Swift finds herself nominated in a recently introduced category of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement for her record-breaking film, 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour'. While Swift has previously received four nominations for best original song, this nomination could potentially lead to her first Golden Globes victory.

If you check the calendar, you'll see that January 7 falls on this upcoming Sunday. Interestingly, on the same day, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to play an away game against the Los Angeles Chargers at 1:25 p.m. PT. This means that Travis Kelce will be physically in Los Angeles at the same time as his girlfriend's significant event.
However, a source informed Page Six that he won't be able to accompany her on the red carpet, which starts around 3 p.m. Considering Kelce's inabilities to teleport, their chances of being seen together are rather slim (unless we witness some sort of TS magic).

Unfortunately, it seems that Travis Kelce won't be able to join Taylor Swift at an after-party either. As per the same source, the 34-year-old tight end plans to fly back to Kansas City along with the rest of the team right after the game.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce initially kept their relationship under wraps for a few months before making it public in late September. Interestingly, most of their time together has coincided with football season. Hence, it's understandable that Kelce hasn't been able to attend as many of Swift's events as he might have wished.
Notably, he was absent from the premiere of "The Eras Tour" movie in October and reportedly couldn't make it to Swift's 34th birthday celebration in New York City in December because of a mandatory practice.
Despite that, there haven't been any disappointments when it is about Travis Kelce being incredibly supportive of Taylor Swift's endeavors. He has consistently praised his girlfriend whenever the chance arises and even went the extra mile by flying to Argentina to attend one of her Eras Tour performances during his team's November bye week.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift recently told Time during her Person of the Year interview. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
