Brunei's Prince Abdul Mateen, also popularly known as Asia's “most eligible bachelor” tied the knot with his fiancee 29-year-old Anisha Rosnah Isa-Kalebic on Thursday in a 10-day-long grand nuptial ceremony. As per reports, the wedding took place inside the gold-domed Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the country's capital, Bandar Seri Begawan. The opulent wedding which began with a solemnizing ceremony took place on Thursday.
The wedding drew special attention as Prince Mateen's fiancee is a 'commoner' hailing from a non-royal family. Prince Mateen and Isa-Kalebic dated for many years before their engagement was announced last year in October.
The royal nuptial event is scheduled to culminate on Sunday with a lavish ceremony in the 1,788-room palace followed by an elaborate procession while the guest list is expected to include international royalty and political leaders

Mateen's now- wife Anisha Rosnah Isa-Kalebic is the granddaughter of the Sultan's special advisor and the founding chairperson of Royal Brunei Airlines. As per media reports, she runs a fashion brand called Silk Collective.
